Cowboy Jim Garling

My summer "tour" /vacation started June 30 with a gig on the patio of the St. James Hotel in Cimarron, New Mexico. Doris & I stayed the following few days in order to celebrate the Fourth of July in that lovely town. 

The celebration on the Fourth began early with a flag ceremony by the veterans at the new sign/flag pole of the Express St. James Hotel on Highway 64 followed by a fine parade and well attended rodeo at a great arena with shaded bleachers for the spectators.Even though the temperatures were not extraorinary, the intense brilliant sun made it seem very warm making the shade a welcome addition.
